Luxury furnished rentals on the Upper East Side
The Upper East Side is the classic Manhattan address: Fifth Avenue facing Central Park, Park Avenue's wide median, and quiet side streets of limestone townhouses. We arrange furnished stays here of a month or longer for clients who want a calm, established base with the city's best museums at the door.
Living in Upper East Side
The neighborhood runs from the park to the East River and feels distinctly residential once you step off the avenues. Madison Avenue carries the flagship boutiques and galleries, Fifth Avenue holds the Metropolitan Museum and the rest of Museum Mile, and the blocks east of Lexington are livelier, with restaurants and the newer Second Avenue subway stations.
Furnished luxury homes in Upper East Side
Many of the grand prewar buildings here are co-ops whose boards restrict furnished or short-term leasing, so most of what we place is in condominiums, single-family townhouses and full-service rental buildings. Expect doormen, high ceilings and, at the top end, a whole townhouse with a garden, an elevator and staff quarters.
Getting around
The Lexington Avenue line (4, 5 and 6) and the Q on Second Avenue reach Midtown in about 10 to 15 minutes. LaGuardia is usually about 25 to 35 minutes by car, and the FDR Drive gives quick access to the rest of Manhattan and the bridges.
Who we place here
Families who need to be near the area's independent schools during a move or renovation, executives on extended assignments, and patients and caregivers using the York Avenue medical institutions. Diplomatic households and foundation leaders also favor the neighborhood for its quiet and its security.
