Furnished Short-Term Rentals in Bergen County, New Jersey

Space, driveways, yards and good schools, with the George Washington Bridge and the ferry close enough that Manhattan stays reachable. Bergen County is where most of our family-sized furnished placements happen, from apartments in Fort Lee and Edgewater to full estates in Cresskill and Closter.

    • Fort Lee, Edgewater, Cresskill, Closter, Hackensack and surrounding towns
    • Family homes and multi-bedroom estates, not just apartments
    • 30-day minimum stays with month-to-month continuation
    • Furnished with utilities and WiFi included

The towns we place in most

Bergen County is seventy municipalities, and the practical differences between them matter a great deal when you are only staying a few months. Fort Lee and Edgewater are the high-rise end: elevator buildings, river views, gyms, garages, and the fastest bridge and ferry access into Manhattan. Both suit couples, small families and anyone commuting into the city daily.

Head north and the character changes to single-family homes on real lots, Cresskill, Closter, Tenafly, Demarest and Alpine. This is where families displaced by a fire, or waiting out a large renovation, tend to land, because you can actually fit a household of five plus a dog and keep the kids in a strong school district.

Hackensack, Paramus, Englewood and Ridgewood sit in between, with a mix of newer apartment inventory, easy access to Route 4 and Route 17, and proximity to the county's major hospitals, useful if you are here for medical treatment or a clinical assignment.

    Family homes and estates available

Not every temporary stay fits in an apartment. Our Bergen inventory includes full furnished homes, including estate properties in Cresskill and Closter with the bedroom count and grounds to house a large family comfortably for a season. Pricing on those is by request rather than published, and the listings are shown town and county only, never a street address.

You can see the current estate cards on our properties page, alongside apartment inventory in Jersey City and elsewhere.

    • Multi-bedroom furnished homes for households of four to ten
    • Estate properties in Cresskill and Closter, call for pricing
    • High-rise apartments in Fort Lee and Edgewater with garage parking
    • 30-day minimums, with longer lease terms available on select homes
    • Driveway parking, in-unit laundry and yard space on most house placements

Why families choose Bergen for a temporary stay

School continuity is the reason we hear most. When a family is displaced by a fire in one Bergen town, there is very often something suitable within a fifteen-minute drive that keeps the same routine intact, same schools, same pediatrician, same soccer field. That is much harder to pull off in a county with thinner inventory.

The second reason is simply space. If you have been living in a four-bedroom house, an extended-stay hotel room is not a real substitute for three months. Bergen is one of the few places within striking distance of Manhattan where a furnished house with a yard is a realistic short-term option.

    Getting started

Tell us the town or the school district, how many bedrooms you need, your move-in date and expected length of stay, plus pets and cars. We search from your anchor point outward and come back with confirmed-available options, typically the same day for apartments and within a couple of days for houses.

If the stay is being paid through an insurance claim, mention it early, we can coordinate billing with your carrier and document costs for reimbursement.
