For owners of family-sized homes
Rent your home to families displaced by an insurance claim
When a house is damaged by a fire, a burst pipe or a storm, the family's homeowners insurance usually pays for a comparable furnished home nearby while repairs run. That coverage is called Additional Living Expense, or ALE. These families need houses and larger apartments, often with room for kids and pets, in the same school district. If you own one, we can place them in it.

What these families need
Comparable housing means something close to the home they lost: similar bedrooms, similar area, often the same school district. That makes 3 and 4 bedroom houses, townhouses and large apartments the hardest homes to find, and the most needed.
They need it fast, usually within days of the loss, and fully furnished with kitchenware, linens and utilities on. Owners who can say yes quickly and allow pets get placed first.
How it works
Tell us the property, bedrooms, the monthly rent you want and when it is available. When a family in your area needs housing, we send you their household size, pets and expected length of stay before anything is signed. Where the insurer pays directly, we coordinate the paperwork.
