Subway access is thinner than the neighborhood's profile suggests: the F line at York Street is the only station inside DUMBO itself, with the A and C at High Street a walk away, so many residents rely on the ferry or on walking over the bridge. And the streets are original Belgian block cobblestone, which is picturesque and hard on wheeled luggage, strollers and cars.
