Luxury furnished residences in New York and New Jersey

Private residences, serviced apartments and hotel suites for executive relocations, family moves, renovation and claim displacement, and discreet extended stays. Sourced by request, confirmed one property at a time.

Most people arrive at an extended stay knowing the dates and the budget, but not which kind of property they actually want. The three options below are genuinely different products, and the right one depends on how long you are staying, how much service you want, and how much of your own routine you plan to keep.

Property Finders Group is a sourcing and brokerage contact, and we do not own or operate every property we present. This page is a sourcing inquiry, not confirmation that a specific residence is available. Options, services, fees, minimum stay and availability are confirmed individually for your dates before anyone commits.

Furnished residence, serviced apartment or hotel suite

    Private furnished residences

    What it is
An individually owned apartment, townhouse or home, furnished and rented directly on a term.
    Who it fits
Families, longer relocations, anyone who wants a real kitchen, more rooms and no daily staff presence.
    Tradeoff
Service is arranged, not built in. Housekeeping, parking and pets vary by property, and each one has its own minimum stay and lease paperwork.

    Serviced apartments and branded residences

    What it is
An apartment inside a managed building where housekeeping, linens, front desk and maintenance are part of the arrangement.
    Who it fits
Executives on assignment, anyone who wants hotel-style support with an apartment layout and a single monthly figure.
    Tradeoff
Fewer buildings, less individuality, and premium pricing. Availability in the strongest submarkets can be limited on short notice.

    Hotel suites and extended-stay hotels

    What it is
A nightly-rate suite, often with a kitchenette, booked through our hotel program rather than a lease.
    Who it fits
Dates under 30 nights, undecided timelines, or a bridge while a residence is confirmed.
    Tradeoff
Over a longer stay you usually get less space for the money than an apartment, and a nightly booking can carry taxes and fees that a monthly term may not. We confirm what applies on each option. Often the better fit for short or uncertain dates than a full relocation.

    Where guests usually choose between

    Financial District and Lower Manhattan

A mix of high-rise apartments, including converted office buildings, so floor plans and natural light can vary a lot from one building to the next and are worth checking unit by unit. Transit is usually the draw: Fulton Center brings several subway lines together and the PATH runs to Jersey City and Hoboken. Evenings and weekends tend to be quieter than Midtown, which some guests prefer and others find too still.

West Village and downtown west side

Low-rise, walkable and residential, with prewar townhouses and small buildings rather than towers. It is the right choice for a guest who wants neighborhood life over amenities. Expect fewer doorman buildings, more stairs, tighter parking and less predictable elevator and laundry arrangements, and expect to plan further ahead.

    Upper East Side

Deep prewar and postwar apartment stock, larger classic layouts, and quick access to the hospital corridor along York and First Avenues plus the Lexington Avenue subway and Second Avenue line. It suits families and medical assignments. Buildings are often cooperative, so furnished short-term use is not always permitted and approval timelines matter.

    Hudson waterfront and Bergen County

Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken and Edgewater often offer newer or larger apartments than a comparable Manhattan budget. Commuting options differ by town: PATH serves Jersey City and Hoboken, while Weehawken and Edgewater rely on ferry and bus service, so it is worth checking the specific route for your office. Parking is sometimes available and sometimes an extra cost, and we confirm it per property. Further into Bergen County the stock shifts toward houses with driveways and school districts. The tradeoff is a river crossing in your routine in exchange for space.

    Jersey Shore and estate stays

Larger homes and estate-style properties along the Monmouth County shore and in the Hamptons, mostly second-home stock. Availability follows the season: monthly terms are far easier off-season, and summer dates behave like vacation weeks. Everything here is confirmed property by property.

What we ask for on a luxury inquiry

    • Arrival and departure dates, and how firm they are
    • Length of stay, including whether it can extend
    • Bedrooms and who is travelling
    • Neighborhood or the office, hospital or school you need to be near
    • Monthly budget range
    • Pets, and their size
    • Parking, and how many cars
    • Accessibility requirements, if any (optional)

Discreet inquiries are welcome. Share only what you are comfortable putting in a form and we can cover the rest by phone. Our sourcing capacity is concentrated in the New York and New Jersey metro, and we will say plainly when a request sits outside it.
