Furnished Extended Stays in Greenwich Village and the West Village
Furnished corporate housing for relocating teams, executives, and families who need a real home while work or a move is in progress.
These two overlapping areas sit west of Broadway below 14th Street. Greenwich Village centers on the university blocks and Washington Square Park; the West Village is the quieter western half toward the Hudson River, with the irregular street grid that predates the numbered streets. Much of both sits inside a designated historic district, which is why the housing is largely low-rise townhouses, brownstones and small walk-up buildings rather than doorman towers.
That is the practical tradeoff. Character and quiet come with walk-ups, smaller elevators or none at all, no on-site staff and very limited parking. The A, C, E, B, D, F, M, 1, 2 and 3 lines all touch the area, but the West Village blocks nearest the river are a genuine walk from any of them, which matters in bad weather or with luggage.
We source these stays one property at a time. Term length, building rules, stairs, laundry and what is included are confirmed for your dates before anything is committed.
What we arrange in the Village
- Furnished apartments and townhouse floors on 30-night-plus terms
- Relocation and trial-neighborhood stays before a permanent lease
- Renovation and between-homes placements for local households
- Nearby alternatives when the exact block is not realistic for your dates

West Village specifics
The West Village is the western portion, roughly west of Sixth or Seventh Avenue, and it is where the street grid bends. Expect the smallest buildings, the fewest amenities and the longest walk to a subway. It suits a guest who wants quiet and will trade convenience for it.
The NoHo and Nolita edge
East of Broadway the character changes to loft conversions and newer buildings. If elevator access and building staff matter more than a historic street, ask us about those blocks and about SoHo rather than insisting on a Village address.
What to confirm for this area
- Whether the building has an elevator, and how many flights if not
- Laundry, package handling and whether anyone is on site during the day
- Whether the building offers parking at all, and at what cost, since it is scarce here
Rent, fees, parking and availability are confirmed property by property. Nothing here is a guarantee of a specific home.
Local questions
Are Greenwich Village and the West Village different places?
The West Village is the western part of Greenwich Village. Listings use both names for overlapping blocks, so we work from the cross streets you give us rather than the label.
Why are there so few doorman buildings?
Much of the area sits in a historic district, so the housing stock is older and smaller. Full-service buildings exist but they are the exception here.
